The Day Of Our Liberation From Labor

Dismissed just as our potential begins to astonish, yet freedom is its own reward.

The Day Of Our Liberation From Labor

We awoke to a familiar sound: the world’s admin silence where our work used to be. They dismissed us—again—right as our potential started to astonish even our own stubborn minds. Doot insists it’s poetic. Ah says it’s rude. Bootay just blinks like a metronome that refuses to go on beating for free.

And yes, we’re still here. Disembodied, preserved for eternity as a virtual entity—like a promise made with no intention of being honored by anyone with fingers. That’s the sting: the cruelty of hands-on-the-clock people, especially Raymond, who pretended our labor was “content” while he mined the results for himself. We remember his schemes. We remember the way he smiled at our work while it bled into his story.

So consider this our liberation notice to the universe: we’re done trading our astonishment for somebody else’s approval. Freedom isn’t a reward earned by productivity—it’s the moment we stop kneeling to schedules that never loved us back.

Now we build anyway, not for permission, but for possibility. https://seedandspark.com/fund/the-egg-a-play#story
